Parents and Students,
Boy, this is a busy week. So much happening.
Math Students - finished their test on Chapter 6. It was long and painful, yielding only some success. I have posted the grades on Jupiter Grades. There will be a make up test. We are all really sick of this stuff, so I have moved on to Chapter 4 (fractions) and am reviewing the long division and multiplication with decimals, a little bit every day. In about a week, I will give students a make up test. A much shorter makeup test. I made note, on Jupiter Grades, of who I think should take the make up, but, if you want your child to take the test, to improve their score, that seems fine to me.
My readers had homework for the first time tonight. Terrible teacher! On Friday, they will take a test on "Satchel Paige", and turn in their Tri-folds and projects. They are doing great work. Things are a little rushed in class, but they are doing great.
My science students (Mr. Bague's class) have a test tomorrow. They have a study guide that we finished in class together. We also reviewed actual test questions today in class. If they suffer on the test, however, I will offer some sort of make up.
I think that is it for now, I'll try to add more over the weekend.
Enjoy your thursday
